Does Cleaning House Count

I wonder if I can count house cleaning as some type of cardio workout. I'm flat out tired after a full day of cleaning. Wouldn't it be nice if it was so easy to rack up cardio workout points! Since I'm sure it doesn't, I need to hit the gym hard first thing in the morning.

Actually house cleaning does count :)
"According to the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services, housework at a moderate level of exertion, can burn up to 300 calories an hour."

So there you go! Give yourself credit for getting a workout.

My problem is I hate housework as much as I hate exercise hehehe but at least with housework it is killing to birds with one stone as they say.

Lady Rose, this is great news! 300 calories an hour is awesome! I know, I hate cleaning house too, but sometimes we do what we have to do. Thanks for the info!
