Looking Into Gym Membership

It has been wet and cold for a few days, and since I hate walking in the rain, I have been considering joining a gym. My problem with that is simple. I'm fat. When I walk past the windows of the gyms I notice all those skinny chics in next-to-nothing outfits. Because I'm fat, I'm really not comfortable with the idea of joining a gym right now. The dilemma of it all.

I walked 4 miles in the past 2 days. Only 44 miles to go this month!

That's the same reason I waited so long to join a gym. And I'm still very happy I once had the nerve to join.
There are a lot of people at the gym like me and you. And now, I regret it that I didn't join the gym much earlier. Don't let those skinny chicks with the barely there outfits stop you. :)

Thanks for the encouragement. I went up to one of our local gyms the other day, but I wasn't comfortable with it at all. One of my friends belongs to a smaller gym, I might go check it out with her. She says it isn't as bad as the bigger gym. There aren't as many buff guys and skinny gals working out, and the trainers make her feel good about working out. I'm still considering my options.

Joining a gym can be very helpful and motivating. Seeing all those other folks in their skimpy outfits should motivate you. It certainly motivates me to see other guys in great shape.

LOL motivate me! I felt like it was your basic meat market. That is what I want to avoid.
