I decided I'll shoot for the 60 mile challenge this month. The count down begins! I'm down 2 miles! The pilates program is getting easier and I'm seeing results! Maybe it's a combination of 1200 calories, walking, along with the pilates. Whatever it is, I'm encouraged!

That's a great goal to shoot for. I began exercising a few months ago by walking. I got bored with that, so I started jogging instead, which is something I hadn't done since I was in high school (I ran cross country back then, actually). I gradually built myself up to about 2.5 miles a day before my 40-year-old ankles wouldn't take the pounding any more. I jumped on my bike instead, which is a lot easier on my joints. I've been doing that ever since. Actually, I'm heading out to ride here in a few minutes, before it gets too hot for the day. Keep up the good work here!
Thanks for the encouragement! I use to be a runner too, but that was a long time ago. I thought about riding a bike, but I want to lose more before I try it.
